Did you think when you saw the title that I was going to show a picture of myself? Nooo. This is a fabulous old purse that belonged to some relative many years ago. It's made with lustrous green silk thread. Heavy iridescent glass beads give it some weight. Look at the circular design on the handle/strap with glass beads around the edges of it. I don't know how that was done but it's beautiful.
Obviously it was the sort of thing that was used only on special occasions and put away carefully between times. I wonder if it was ever used at all--it's in such good shape.
