Or at least how I remember myself looking in one. I have avoided this style for years and years. My pattern collection stops in the early 1960's (when it's previous owner stopped sewing) and picks up again in 1980 (when I began sewing a lot). No 60's A line dresses or skirts--which is odd considering how I have always loved mod fashion.But I've made 40's clothes for so long. And I laugh at the idea of me in a crinoline and full skirt. I've also done more than my fair share of wriggling around in wriggle skirts. I need something new. So when I saw this pattern at the 99 cent sale, I bought it:
